The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 is a little ways down the road. The official date, confirmed by Verizon, is April 10th, however, till this moment any other largest carrier in the U.S. didn’t comment the future reveal of the new flagship of Samsung.
Recently Twitter of T-Mobile was refreshed by an announcement that buyers of the Galaxy S6 from T-Mobile can count on free usage of Netflix for a year. Netflix, probably the most well-known and popular streaming service worldwide can serve as a workable motivation to the clients. However, there is a suggestion that it is not a T-Mobile’s initiative but a Samsung promotion campaign that started with T-Mobile and will be continued by three other main carriers – AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. Still, it is just a suggestion so the situation may change.
The notification on the T-Mobile’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge pre-registration page states that with the purchase of the Samsung device user can also get an access to the streaming library saving more than a hundred dollars. Moreover, T-Mobile is going to compensate the transition from carrier to carrier and change of contracts. Thanks to this, users will be able to change the plan and device smoothly as soon as Galaxy S6 will be launched.
Pre-orders of the device at Verizon are in the works – and soon we will see this at T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint. The range of colors of the future device are unknown at the moment, however, the suggestions are that they will be black white and gold colors.
At the moment it is known that the Galaxy S6 will have Exynos 7420 processor, 5.1-inch QHD display and 32GB of storage. The device will not support microSD cards, as Samsung removed the slot, proposing models with 64B and 128GB storage options. The battery of the device will not be removable.
