One of the indisputable advantages of the Android operating system is the ability to use third-party solutions for literally any part of the OS, whether the dialer, address book, application for sending SMS-messages or keyboard. If you are a devoted Android user, you are probably familiar with Fleksy Keyboard and all the features it provides really changing the experience of mobile device usage. For quite some time Fleksy is bettering their application, but the last update they had released recently enough (it is the 5.0 version of it now) is literally the new word in third party keyboards.

It is fair to say that the last update is the biggest in the quite a short history of the application, and for sure the most dramatic on what comes to the design changes with new themes, and all new features and options included. The excellent typing and its speed did not change at all, but somehow you get more aesthetic pleasure from using it.

The Material Design UI is now a more useful way to choose your own Fleksy design and theme, customize the buttons and other details of your virtual keyboard. They have added previewing for all the themes available, forth free and paid, so you can really see if it will look good on your device before paying for it.

A great new detail everyone appreciates is a bunch of keyboard addons you can now install based on your needs and preferences. There are lots of them including number row one, shortcuts and even those for making GIFs more accessible in your messaging. If you like things to be more functional, you will enjoy the launcher extension that allows you use start the most frequently launched apps right from the keyboard.

For sure, there are a lot more to the new version, and there would be much more extensions ahead, so if you have never used Fleksy, it is high time you give it a shot.
